Mobile money, without the wasted walk
Know which MoMo vendor has cash before you leave home
FloatFinder shows nearby vendors whose cash and float status was confirmed minutes ago. Reserve a spot, walk once, get served. Your money stays on MTN, Telecel or AT. We never hold it.

How it works
Fresh status in, wasted trips out
01
Vendors confirm their status
A vendor taps to confirm cash on hand and float. Every status carries a freshness stamp and hides automatically when it goes stale, so the map cannot lie by omission.
02
You pick a network and amount
We only show vendors whose status is fresh and sufficient for your amount, in ranges, never exact balances. Cash holding detail is revealed only once you start a transaction.
03
Reserve, walk, confirm
Your reservation holds a spot for ten minutes. The vendor scans your code, the MoMo transfer runs on your provider's own rails, and both sides confirm in the app.
Interactive demo
Try the flow yourself
An interactive demo of the product flow with sample vendors in Osu, Accra. Reserve as a customer, then switch tabs and confirm as the vendor. No live provider integration here: reservations are simulated and no real money moves.
For vendors
Customers who already know you can serve them
No new hardware. No change to how you run your kiosk. Confirm your status, get routed customers, keep your reliability score high.
Routing priority for fresh status
Vendors who keep their status confirmed appear first. Status older than a few minutes drops out of matching entirely, so keeping it fresh is how you win customers.
A reliability score that sells you
Every kept reservation builds your score. Over declaring capacity and leaving customers stranded drops you out of matching until your record recovers.
End of day reconciliation
Your reservations and serves are logged against your own records, replacing the paper exercise book and keeping your status data honest at the same time.
Your balances stay private
Customers see ranges, never exact balances, and only after they start a transaction. Nothing about your cash position is browsable in the open.
Questions
Asked already, answered plainly
Do you hold or move my money?+
No. The MoMo transfer stays entirely on MTN, Telecel or AT, between you and the vendor, exactly as it works at the kiosk today. FloatFinder carries information: who can serve you, where, and a record of what both sides confirmed. It never holds float, never touches a PIN, never sits in the middle of the money.
What if the vendor has no cash when I arrive?+
That is the failure this exists to prevent. Only vendors with a fresh, sufficient status can be matched, and status hides automatically when it goes stale. If a matched vendor still cannot serve you before money moves, no debit happens and your reservation simply lapses. Vendors who strand customers lose matching priority through their reliability score.
What if money leaves my wallet but I get no cash?+
Report it in the app within the dispute window. We package the evidence: the transaction reference, both confirmations, timestamps and the vendor's registered ID, formatted for your provider's own investigation channels, which is where the money side is properly decided. Because we never hold your money, we never promise instant refunds, and we will not pretend a confirmation button removes that risk.
Is FloatFinder a bank or a licensed payment company?+
No. It is software. It does not hold float, move money, or act as a MoMo agent. Anything beyond software, such as settlement features, would go through the Bank of Ghana's sandbox first, with real data, not before.
Which networks does it cover?+
All three: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AT Money. Cross network coverage is the point. No single telco will ever map its competitors' agents.
What does it cost?+
The pilot is free for customers and vendors. Whether anyone should pay, and who, is one of the questions the pilot exists to answer honestly rather than assume.
Where does it work?+
The pilot targets Accra neighbourhoods first. The demo on this page uses sample vendors around Osu. Wider coverage follows vendor signups, because the data only exists once vendors keep their status fresh.
Could this help robbers target vendors?+
We treat that risk as a design constraint, not an afterthought. Capacity is shown in ranges, never exact balances. Cash holding detail is revealed only to a customer with an initiated transaction, nothing is openly browsable, and precise customer location is never collected or retained.
